2023 was a hustle bustle year for me with multiple private commissions keeping me on my toes and busy throughout the year, as well as participation in a couple local art exhibitions presented by the Nanaimo Arts Council.
My original 6"x6" mix-media painting titled "The Eagle" was on display as part of the Art Around Town exhibit at the Nanaimo Port Theatre, along with other selected works by Nanaimo Art Council members. The painting was later sold to a private client and has made it's new home in Victoria, BC. I'll be making prints available "The Eagle" on my website soon, so you can look forward to seeing it here on my website in coming weeks in 2024
Earlier in the year, I had also participated in the Nanaimo Art Council's Take it to The Bank group art exhibit which displayed at RBC Royal Bank of Canada's downtown branch.
2024 started off with a bang with acceptance in to the Victoria Art Battle on January 19th, however I unfortunately had to remove myself from the competition due to conflicting vacation travel dates. I hope to reapply for upcoming Art Battles that will take place in Victoria or elsewhere on Vancouver Island, and in Vancouver.
